Dining out in Moray

Seafood Moray

So there aren’t a huge number of options but there are some great spots if you know where to go. Below we have listed some of our favourites:

Copper Dog, Craigellachie

This is a lovely pub/ restaurant with great food and good cocktails. All produce is from a 50 mile radius of the venue so it always offers a delicious and seasonal local menu. It is in the heart of Speyside so the whisky collection is extensive!

The Bothy in Burghead

They start serving at breakfast and have great cakes during the day. They use fresh local produce and regularly have fish and langoustines straight off the Burghead boats. This is a great spot not to be missed.

The Kimberly Inn, Findhorn

Delicious food and drink in a traditional pub in the middle of Findhorn overlooking the sea- it has lovely views. We absolutely love a visit in the summer but also in winter when the fire is on.

Johnstons of Elgin

This bistro café is great for breakfast, lunch, cake or just coffee with friends- one of the top brunch/ lunch spots in Elgin, we think.
